This policy explains how Yume Lab ("we", "the app") handles information when you use https://yume-lab.uk.
Information we collect
- TikTok account information you approve through Login with TikTok (scope
user.info.basic): your TikTok open ID, display name and avatar. - Access tokens issued by TikTok, used to post the videos you choose to publish (scope
video.publish). - Your ideas: the text you type to request a video.
- Generated content: the script, caption, narration, illustrations and video made from your idea.
We do not collect your TikTok password, contacts, messages, location or payment information.
How we use information
- To show which TikTok account you are signed in with.
- To make a video from your idea and show you its status.
- To publish the video to your TikTok account when you press Post.
- To enforce usage limits and keep content safe.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.
Who processes it
Your idea text is sent to an AI language-model provider to check it and to write the script and caption. Narration and illustrations are generated on our own servers. Videos you post are sent to TikTok. We share nothing else with third parties.
Storage, retention and deletion
- Access tokens are kept only in server memory for your signed-in session (at most 24 hours) and are revoked when you press Disconnect.
- Video files are deleted from our servers as soon as you post or discard them, or 7 days after they were made.
- Your idea, the video title and your TikTok open ID are kept as a history of your requests. Email us to have them deleted; we do so within 30 days.
You can also remove Yume Lab's access in TikTok under Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions.
Children
Yume Lab is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date.
